Introducing Abbie and their magnificent mohawk!
Here’s Abbie, 13, South West England Ioan Guides, at the Wellies and Wristbands Festival 2023

Leaping into the Swish Upcycling challenge, Abbie created these super cool jeans by sewing together two pairs of old jeans and a t-shirt.
Look closer, and you’ll see Abbie’s used a pair of shoes to make a funky fly at the front!

Abbie made lots of the patches themselves. We love how they’ve used bold stitching for MAXIMUM DRAMA
The chains were found in the garage!
Abbie loves punk and heavy metal music, and we reckon their style ROCKS. We’re sure Vivienne Westwood, the original punk queen, would salute them!

YOU’RE ALL SUPER SKETCHERS

Check out these fabulous fashion sketches! Guides from 5th St Mark’s, Jersey, used their Swish ‘croquis’ templates to create these gorgeous designs.

Shoes made from place mats sound brilliant! But a corset made from playing cards might bring us out in a Royal Flush (tee-hee!).
We love the details on these sketches, drawn by a talented Guide at 1st Royal Bassett.

SHARE YOUR PICS
Ask your leaders to send your fun & fabulous pics to hello@theswish.co.uk We’ll share here, and you’ll become INSTANTLY FAMOUS (er… maybe not. But you CAN point at the screen, and whoop, ‘THAT’S ME!’)
We are IN AWE of these amazing trashion outfits created by the 1st Baughurst Guides.
Best of all, we love the fun they seem to be having!
We this paper chain bracelet tied with a carrier bag bow. Pandora, eat your heart out!

Check the cardboard specs! Who needs to see when they look this cool?
Isn't this bodice dress exquisite? Such a dainty design (and
wonderfully waterproof! One to wear for Ladies Day at the races, perhaps?)
